Now listen-up group, this is your tour guide speaking.
No real ammunition is allowed on The Mountain.
All of the gunfighter's are qualified performers who portray characters in historical recreation skits.
These boys are certified and registered members of official organizations who specialize in historic re-enactment, such as the Old West Living History Foundation and the American Federation of Old West Reenactors.
Their exciting and realistic performance on The Mountain is for entertainment purposes only. It gets a bit loud on a few of our streets, about every hour or so, when the action starts.
Gunfight skits are exciting entertainment on The Mountain!
The groups do give a very informative safety orientation before each skit begins,
except when an impromptu moment presents itself occasionally.
Y'all folks believe me! You'll sure enough get a big bang out of
The Mountain during 1st Monday Trade Days.
Gunfighters will visit with you. Gunfighters give safety info to kids.
